With today’s busy lifestyle, trying to fit in work, sport, family and a social life, it comes as no surprise that our feet, legs and lower back sometimes get painful with daily activity. Often these aches and pains are dismissed as being “normal”. This is not necessarily the case, many of these aches and pains can be caused by poor footwear, poor foot posture and poor general posture.
Since 1988 Alex has studied Podiatry and especially Biomechanics of the lower limbs. This has allowed him to develop a special interest in treating Biomechanical related conditions of the feet, legs and lower back. His extensive qualifications, wide variety of experience and collaboration with Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Massage Therapists allows him to easily treat and manage many of these daily aches and pains.
Podiatrists treat all problems related to the foot and lower leg.
If you are experiencing daily aches and pains, your foot posture and general posture as well as wear patterns in your footwear can be used to assess your condition. Simply make an appointment and bring some of your older regularly used shoes with you. Alex would be glad to talk with you and discuss how best to manage your condition. Creating a stable foundation at your feet is the key to good Biomechanics, posture and wellbeing for a busy modern life!

Orthotic devices are shoe inserts manufactured from a 3D model of your foot. Designed to perfectly fit your business, fashion and daily footwear, they help assist in maintaining the correct positioning of your foot and alignment of the feet, legs and hips.
Recent technology enhancements allow us to create custom orthotic footwear that all Podiatrists and people who wear orthotic devices have been dreaming of for years. Alex works with German orthotic designers who have developed the perfect footwear for Australians in summer. View our gallery for some examples of the many styles we have have on offer.
We deal with a wide range of health issues in addition to injuries caused through immobility, sport and workplace.
